Exhibition “Astep ― Timeless Inventions,” at Yamagiwa Tokyo

Currently, YAMAGIWA TOKYO is participating in the “ELLE DECOR DESIGN WALK 2024” event, running until November 4. As part of this event, YAMAGIWA TOKYO is hosting the exhibition “Astep ― Timeless Inventions,” featuring the Danish lighting brand “Astep,” which they began offering this summer. The exhibition’s design is curated by BUNDLESTUDIO, creating a space that harmonizes with Astep’s unique aesthetic.

Astep is a brand founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of the legendary Italian lighting designer Gino Sarfatti, whose name is prominent in the history of lighting design. The brand name, which means “a step forward,” reflects a commitment to progress, building on three generations of knowledge and experience while evolving through the fresh perspective of a new-generation leader.

This exhibition showcases five series from the Gino Sarfatti Collection reissued by Astep. Enjoy this limited-time styling exhibition, which combines these pieces with Italian modernist furniture from the 1950s and 60s, designed during the same era.
