The Will of Time-Transcending Expressionists — Yu-ichi Inoue, José Zanine Caldas, Serge Mouille @ATELIERMO

BUNDLESTUDIO will hold an exhibition and sale titled “The Will of Time-Transcending Expressionists – Yu-ichi Inoue, José Zanine Caldas, Serge Mouille -” at the Aoyama Ichome gallery ATELIERMO. The exhibition features calligraphy by Yu-ichi Inoue, furniture by José Zanine Caldas, and lighting by Serge Mouille, and was envisioned for this new venue in Tokyo based on the exhibition by the same title held in 2022 at BUNDLE GALLERY.

Calligraphy, lighting, and furniture. Although these three creators worked in completely different domains and countries, they share the commonality of continually updating their expressive styles in line with changes in the times and their own consciousness, and relentlessly pursuing new challenges. This project focuses on how each expressed their sensibilities in different eras, offering an opportunity to appreciate various works that have evolved over time.

Following numerous requests for a Tokyo exhibition after the conclusion of the last session at BUNDLE GALLERY, we are now pleased to present the exhibition in collaboration with ATELIER MO. This special edition also includes a selection of valuable vintage furniture from ATELIER MO’s collection that is highly compatible with the works of the three artists, such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Chapo, and Pierre Jeanneret, in addition to furniture by José Zanine Caldas’ son, Zanini de Zanine Caldas, imported by BUNDLESTUDIO. This will be an opportunity to view and purchase rare pieces, from vintage items to unique museum pieces, so please do take a look.
